Magna Marbella Golf is a new club set up in the mountains. The thing I loved most about the club is the driving range facility, which is a double-tiered wooden construction that has a great view of the sea. The range also allows you to play off the grass for your irons and down the other end of the range they have a great little chipping green and bunkers to practice in. The course itself is only 9 holes, 7 of them being only par 3, so its perfect for practicing your short game but isn’t particularly challenging although I managed to make it so. The deal on at the moment is two green fees and a buggy for €45. After you can grab some food in the Magna Café restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you have children aged between 6 and 14 years old then you may be interested in the Magna Marbella Golf Academy, which starts on the 21st of September 2006. The children will be coached by three professionals one of which is playing in the Ladies European tour at the moment. They will be coached in both the practical side of golf and the rules and theory of the game. For more information contact the golf club but reading through it, I wish it were open for all ages,
