Opening over 20 years ago La Meridiana has settled into a classic status among locals and season goers alike. Most of the staff have been there since the beginning so there are many familiar faces including the Head Chef, Eusebio Checa. The restaurant itself is decorated in a very colonial fashion and is extremely spacious, spanning out into the Roman gardens at the back. In the garden there’s an outdoor pool, a bar and enough candlelit tables to seat 250 diners under the canopy of flowers and greenery. Both the menu and the wine list are extensive. Offering diners a wonderful variety of dishes; starters including Beluga caviar, lobster salad and salmon medallions wrapped in Serano ham with dill sauce. Mains including, fresh sea bass, duck, steak even roasted pigeon and with over 300 wines to choose from you may have difficulty picking one out. The overall ambience of La Meridiana is one of quality and luxury and the fine food deserves to be served in such an environment. But let us not forget the other jewel in the crown of the La Meridiana restaurant venue. From 11pm onwards the adjoining La Notte nightclub opens up. This is no ordinary night club, La Notte epitomizes Marbella's chic elegant image. If you're into drinking champagne and mixing with celebrities, this is the place to go. The terrace has magnificent views, the cocktail list is long and the music designed to get you going!
