About La Casita

Set in the picturesque village of La Heredia, La Casita has recently opened offering a wide range of the most exquisite home cooking with a modern twist. Owned by Lawrence Otterburn and his wife, Sasha, the attention to detail is fantastic; from the tropical plants on the terrace to the tantalizing secret recipes passed on from generation to generation in his family.

Lawrence was trained by Gordon Ramsey and has since enjoyed working with the celebrity as well as offering his valuable expertise consulting restaurants along the coast. In La Casita we now have the chance to taste his excellent food, coupled with fantastic service from Susana.

If you want to dine in a quietly beautiful, informal atmosphere, where the food is the main focus then this restaurant is a must. There is no opulence in the decor, nor can it sit many people but we love it because it feels personal, the smell of the flowers in the terrace warms the heart and the cozy seating lets you sit back and relax and above all, it won't hurt your wallet.

There is ample parking and it’s easy to get to, simply follow the road to Ronda from San Pedro and you will see the colorful village La Heredia and the restaurant sign on your right by KM 43. We do recommend you book in advance as this little gem quickly fills up most evenings.

PICASSITOS

Following the success of La Casita we have now opened Picassitos next door. Offering a more informal style of dining in the way of a pizza bar and bites. All our pizzas are handmade and available in full size or bite size to eat in or take away, with a selection of quality tapas and deserts from La Casita.
