Gran Hotel Elba Estepona & Thalasso Spa Marbella

Gran Hotel Elba Estepona has been accepted as one of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. The property is located beachside in Estepona’s Arena Beach development 3km from the centre of Estepona. This is a resort style hotel that offers a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling Costa del Sol coastline.

Being located in Estepona taxis or a rental car will certainly be needed if you wish to explore Marbella or Puerto Banus but I wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t wish to leave this hotel.

There are a total of 204 rooms in the hotel that are all vast, (a suite is over 82m²) and taking centre stage is a massive bed. The rooms are decorated elegantly with dark wooden furnishings and you get all the mod cons including a flat screen television and wireless internet. The marble bathrooms are lovely and spacious with a Jacuzzi bath and separate power shower and there are large balconies facing the sea or if you’re on the ground floor the doors open out into the gardens.

There are numerous dining options available in the hotel. Guests receive a complimentary buffet breakfast in the Arena Beach Restaurant each morning. The other three main restaurants in the hotel include:

Al Andaluz - that serves typical Spanish Cuisine including the four-course half board meal, along with national wines.

Asia Fusión - Offers a wide choice of Asian style dishes, ranging from Indian to Japanese.

París-Roma - Serves a combination of Italian-French themed, together with the best wines of the area. Also serves special low-calorie meals for spa guests.

There is also the swimming pool restaurant for lunch and drinks throughout the day and two bars for evening drinks, the Cocktail Bar and the Piano Bar.

The highlight of the Gran Hotel Elba is the Thalasso Spa that offers over 60 treatments designed to pamper, rejuvenate, and restore. Other facilities include a fully equipped fitness centre, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, and separate children’s pool.
