About El Chaparral Golf Academy

The academy has a 32 bay 2 tier floodlit driving range, putting green, practice bunker, and short game area. The facility is state of the art and has V1 professional swing analysis software and SamLab, sophisticated putting analysis software used by many top touring professionals.

The golf academy is run by Barry Cole (Head PGA Professional) who is supported by Sean Stiff, PGA. Lessons are available on an individual or group basis, with or without video analysis. Every Saturday at 12pm and Sunday at 11am they run Junior Young Guns Academy, for only 10 euros. Every Sunday from 12pm for 1 hour the academy runs a men’s and ladies group lesson for 15 euros including range balls, there is no need to book just turn up.

Barry says: "Our philosophy of teaching is simple and uncomplicated and we believe in working to individuals strong points, concentrating predominantly on the basics of golf and the short game. At the ECGA we believe in making golf fun and a social learning experience for all ages and standards of player as well as an excellent opportunity to meet and make new friends."

The El Chaparral Golf Academy is also the official demonstration centre for Taylor Made and Adidas. They have various demonstration clubs from Taylor Made including drivers, irons and rescue clubs, which clients can try anytime. They also have a fully fitted workshop for all your custom fitting and golf club repairs.
