Egan’s restaurant with their Irish roots has found its way to Nueva Andalucia, half way in between Puerto Banus and Marbella. The food is simple and tasty with starters including chorizo in a cherry sauce and a delicious home-made chicken liver pate with toast. They do a fine entrecote with a Dijon mustard sauce, lamb cutlets, pork medallions and their specialty the lobster dish. All mains can be served with a side of seasonal vegetables and potatoes how you like them. The house red was more than could be asked for and the service was personal and attentive. Egans have a nice bar area, where you can have some tapas and watch the sport on the flat screen. It’s in a great location if you’re staying in Nueva Andalucia and there is plenty of parking by the restaurant. They have a great three course set menu for 25 €. They also have a golfers menu and do special deals for larger parties.
