Don Carlos Marbella

The Don Carlos is about a ten minute drive from Marbella and lies on a hill separated from the sea only by its extensive gardens that offer guests a chance to relax with a book and listen to the waterfall in the grounds. This is a luxury hotel that attracts guests looking for the best of the pool, the beach club and the sea.

The Don Carlos hotel has a total of 241 air-conditioned rooms that were all renovated in December of 2005. They are spacious and comfortable with modern assets such as flat screen TV’s and DVD players. Beds come with imported Egyptian linen and goose down pillows. Bathrooms have marble floors, bathtubs, hair dryers, bidets, plush bathrobes, and Molton Brown toiletries. All the rooms have balconies that look over either the rolling mountains or the blue sea.

There are also 24 suites located adjacent to the hotel, in a complex with its own pool and parking. All hotel facilities and services, including access to the Beach Club, are available to the residents of the suites.

Los Naranjos restaurant - has a beautiful outdoor terrace where guests can enjoy modern European cuisine with a fantastic view of the sea.

Restaurant Bahia - serves a large buffet breakfast in the morning; this too enjoys views of the gardens and the sea.

Sol y Sombre restaurant - is located by the main pool and is the perfect spot for a healthy light lunch.

La Terrasse – is the hotel´s piano bar, with chilled live music nightly there is no better place to relax with an evening cocktail.

The hotel has three outdoor swimming pools, a gym, sauna and Jacuzzi, a children’s playground, a hairdressers/beauty salon and various boutiques. For the tennis lover the Marco Tennis Academy offers a garden setting and 10 courts, including nine clay courts and one hard. Lessons are available for all levels of expertise, and the academy often organizes tournaments.

The hotel has its own exclusive beach club, run by the famous Nikki beach brand. In the summer Nikki beach is one of the most popular spots with the affluent and trendy; offering great food throughout the day, a whole host of water sports and some of the classiest parties in the evening.

If you’re a golfer then the Don Carlos recommends the Santa Maria golf course, which is just around the corner and offers discounted rates to all guests of the hotel. The hotel also has conference facilities, able to accommodate 3000 people.
